Do I need to be connected to the Internet to use my software subscription?
You don’t need to be online to use your software. It runs on your computer, not on the Internet. You do, however, need to connect to the Internet every 30 days, so we can keep your software up-to-date and verify that your subscription is current. An Internet connection is required to install and activate your software.
Will my subscription automatically renew?
Yes. Monthly and annual Subscriptions are automatically renewed until you cancel them. You do not need to take any action. Your credit card will be charged each month or year per the subscription plan.
Will you email a reminder before my subscription automatically renews?
Yes. You will receive an email reminder two weeks before your renewal date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You may change or cancel your subscription at the end of the current term, please contact support@hydrologystudio.com prior to the automatic renewal date. Annual plans cannot be cancelled mid-contract.
What happens if my subscription expires?
If your subscription expires, the license will be revoked and your software will revert to the Trial version with limited capabilities. To continue using your software, you will need to place an order for a new subscription and reactivate your installed software.
Please explain “Flexible Licensing”
Hydrology Studio uses a simplified floating license server that allows you to move licenses from one computer to another with just a few mouse clicks. Here’s how it works: Your software can be installed on any number of computers but can only be activated up to the number of licenses purchased.
For example, if you purchased three licenses you can have up to three concurrent users. At any time, you can deactivate one (or any) of the installs and reactivate it on another computer, in a branch office, at home, or on a new computer for example. This is easily accomplished right in your software with an easy-to-use license management console.
